  • Advanced Students your Artist of the Week is Henri Matisse, choose a third new artwork by Matisse

Today's Activities

DLT: By the end of class, students will be able to create a Layer Mask using Photoshop. They will demonstrate this by combining two images using a Layer Mask.
  1. Intro to Collage Project
  2. Complete the Layer Mask tutorial
  3. Practice Creating Layer Masks
    Save your Tutorial as LayerMaskTut-YourName.psd

SMI Info

  1. Revise the Elements of Art & Principles of Design Slide Show. Bring you rubric (and paycheck 4) to have it re-graded (@ SMI or Tutoring)
  2. Update or revise your Artist Studies Google Doc to include the artist in this order:
    Henri Matisse on top, then Seveso, Banksy, Rivera, Da Vinci, Warhol, and Picasso (on the bottom).
    Make sure to document the source of each image. Then ask to have it re-graded (as well as past paychecks)
  3. Complete additional Selection Exercises
